Workshops Policy

  • Each workshop will have minimum and maximum enrollment, depending on the offering. The workshop will be cancelled if the minimum is not met. In the case of maximum enrollment, any further interested persons may be placed on a waiting list and offered a position in the case of a participant cancellation. Those remaining on the waiting list will be offered first refusal of the next workshop on the same topic.
  • Refunds will be given for cancellation requests made 14 days or more prior to the workshop, less a $50.00 cancellation fee. Refunds will be made in full due to a cancellation by PhotoSynthesis. We’re sorry, but refunds can not be given due to participant cancellation because of illness or other unforeseen circumstance. PhotoSynthesis is not responsible for any cancellation costs of travel related expenses, including reservations of airlines and lodging.
  • Individual classes or portions of a workshop that are cancelled by PhotoSynthesis will be rescheduled at the earliest possible and logical convenience.
  • Workshops of 6 hours or more will include a break for lunch. You may bring a lunch and leave it in our refrigerator or order from any of a number of nearby restaurants.
  • No food, drinks, or mobile phone use in the darkrooms. Food and drink is OK in the lounge. No smoking in the building.
  • PhotoSynthesis provides ventilation, aprons, safety goggles, print tongs, an eyewash station, and a first-aid kit for participants’ safety.
  • Participants are welcome to protect themselves with other equipment if they are so inclined. Material Safety Data Sheets available on request.
  • PhotoSynthesis is not responsible for any personal items.
  • PhotoSynthesis may take still and/or video images for educational and promotional use on our website, social networking sites, and other sites related to our business, as well as in printed materials.
  • Respect others. Respect the equipment. Have fun.
